Located in Shizhong Town, Jianyang City, Chengdu, the Jin-Jian-Ren Expressway Tuojiang River Bridge has quickly become a new popular landmark in Chengdu since it opened to traffic on June 30.

The bridge has set three world records:

The world's largest-span asymmetric curved cable-stayed bridge with a single tower and twisted cable planes — The bridge has a total length of 963 meters, with the main bridge extending 513 meters and a maximum span of 238 meters.

The world's tallest inclined bridge tower — The main tower stands 173 meters high. Its unique design resembles a “diamond ring” rising above the river, creating a striking visual landmark.

The world's widest bridge deck — The widest section of the deck reaches 86.7 meters. The bridge adopts a dual six-lane main roadway and four-lane auxiliary roadway layout, with dedicated pedestrian and cycling paths allowing visitors to enjoy close-up views of the river and bridge scenery.

At sunset, gradient lighting illuminates the bridge, with shimmering reflections across the river creating a spectacular atmosphere. Many residents visit the bridge with family and friends to stroll along the pathways, enjoy the cool evening air, capture sunset and night views, and overlook the pastoral landscapes and rolling hills along both banks of the Tuojiang River.

Combining transportation functionality with architectural aesthetics, the bridge not only provides a vital cross-river connection between Jianyang City and Chengdu Eastern New Area, but also creates a new urban landmark for sightseeing and leisure with its distinctive design.
